The KV Food Basket has been nourishing Quispamsis and the surrounding community since 1985. Our volunteers bring fresh, healthy food straight to the families who need it most: with care, warmth, and a friendly smile. We’re more than just a food basket. We’re neighbors helping neighbors, creating connections, and making every meal a little brighter.

The KVFB Board of Directors is comprised of a Chair Person, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and 6 board director positions. The Board of Directors work to further the activities of the KVFB and facilitate the delivery of service to members of the community.

Kevin Darling
Vice Chair
Kevin is a self-employed consultant based in Quispamsis, specializing in governance, strategic growth, and financial issues. A Platinum Jubilee Medal recipient and former RBC executive, Kevin brings extensive leadership experience and a deep commitment to community service through his work with various regional boards and charitable organizations.

Ivan Ho
Secretary
Ivan is a veteran pharmacist and community leader who co-owned Kennebecasis Drugs for 45 years. A former President and longtime Recording Secretary of the N.B. Pharmaceutical Society, Ivan’s career is defined by professional service. His dedication to the community also includes nearly a decade of board leadership for Hospice Greater Saint John and the Hampton Golf Club.

Max Cooke
Board Director
Max is Director of BTS Spark Canada, the not-for-profit social impact education practice within BTS, a global professional services firm. He works with school districts and school leaders across Canada to design and deliver leadership development programs that build capacity, inspire growth, and drive meaningful change across education systems.

Geoff Duplessis
Board Director
Retired from the Canadian federal government. A resident of Rothesay NB who enjoys his family, the great outdoors, hiking, investing, travelling, puzzles, and community service.

Nancy Littlewood
Board Director
Retired from transit industry and community schools program. Enthusiastic about volunteering in the community, travel, painting and gardening.

Emil Olsen
Board Director
Former Mayor of The Town of Quispamsis. 31 years of service on Council for the Town of Quispamsis. Over 45 years of volunteer service for the community of Quispamsis.
Lynn Orser
BEd, CAUS, MEd
Board Director
Lynn has 34 years experience in the field of Education with a diverse background in teaching (K-12), assessment, counselling and administration. She has devoted much of her career to the advocacy of children with exceptionalities.
In addition, she has been an instructor (UNB) and researcher (University of Western Ontario), She has teamed with the Department of Education (NB) in course development and learning strategy documents for teachers

Amanda O'Sullivan
Board Director
Amanda currently serves as the Executive Director for Capital Family Services. A proud Rothesay resident, Amanda is passionate about animal rescue and shares her home with four beloved rescues. She enjoys gardening, reading and cherishing time with her family.

Marissa Sollows

Marissa Sollows is the Director of Communications and Public Affairs at the Financial and Consumer Services Commission of New Brunswick. A University of New Brunswick alumna with a background in business administration and performance arts, Marissa brings extensive leadership experience and a passion for community engagement to her role on the board.
