At the KV Food Basket (Charitable Number 135325751 RR0001), we believe that transparency is the foundation of community trust and the cornerstone of our mission. The Kennebecasis Valley Food Basket provides its services from its location in Quispamsis. We would like to respectfully acknowledge that Quispamsis exists on the traditional Mi’kmaq (mic maq) and Maliseet First Nations land.  The first inhabitants of the area now known as Quispamsis were members of the Maliseet tribe known as the Etchemin.
